Following a disqualification loss of the ONE Strawweight MMA World Championship to Joshua Pacio, the determined Brooks is set to return at ONE Fight Night 24, where he will face Gustavo Balart for the ONE Interim Strawweight World Title.

“Gustavo has disrespected me in many ways. I called him a boss baby, and then he superimposed his face on my body, claiming he’s the real champion. That’s incredibly disrespectful. Whatever he’s trying to become, ‘Monkey God 2.0,’ it’s not happening. He’s 37 years old and had his achievements as an Olympian. But MMA is my territory.
